F.A.Q's

HOW TO BECOME A BROTHER?

Some of the first steps anyone can take to become a Brother at the Epsilon Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi is to attend some of our recruitment events. Learn more about us and what distinguishes us from other professional fraternities on campus.

WHAT IS A BID?

A bid is an invitation to participate in the pledge program in order to eventually join the fraternity as an active member.

CAN I BE A MEMBER OF ANOTHER GREEK ORGANIZATION AND STILL JOIN?

You can be a member of both a social fraternity/sorority and a professional fraternity. However, you cannot be both a member of Delta Sigma Pi as well as another organization under the Professional Fraternity Council.

ARE ALL THE RECRUITMENT EVENTS MANDATORY?

We highly recommend to attend as many as possible but they are NOT mandatory. Students who are able to attend all the events have more opportunities to meet active brothers and leave a lasting impression.

IF I DON'T GET A BID, CAN I RECRUIT AGAIN?

Yes! We encourage you to reapply if you didn't get a bid. Some of our brothers have applied once, some have applied twice, and some have applied three times.

Eligibility

  1. Student at California State University, Chico.

  2. Must be pursuing a major or minor in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Economics, Accounting, and Construction Management.

  3. Must have at least one additional semester left after pledging.
